Everything PixelDJ does
Mixing
Two decks and a crossfader, one song on each side of the keyboard.

Two decks
QIPlay one song on Deck A while you get the next one ready on Deck B.
Crossfader on the arrows
←→Hold an arrow to slide from one song into the other. Hold Shift to go slowly, or press X for the middle.
Sync
EPLines up the next song's beat with the one that's playing. If two songs are too far apart, PixelDJ says why and leaves them alone.
Songs stay in tune
When Sync speeds a song up or slows it down, it keeps its own pitch.
Loops
SKRepeat a piece of a song until you press it again. Pick how long the piece is on the console.
Cue points
WOJump back to a spot you marked, like the start of a chorus. Shift with the same key marks a new spot.
Nudges and jog wheels
ADJLPush a song a touch ahead or back to keep two beats together. Turning a jog wheel with the mouse does the same.
Jump anywhere in a song
Each song's picture shows where you are. Click anywhere on it to go there.
Mix Next
EnterDoes one smooth mix into the other deck for you.
Auto DJ
F8Keeps the music going by itself, blending each song slowly into the next. Touch the crossfader and you're back in control.
Full Songs, Balanced or Party Mix
Pick how much of each song Auto DJ plays, from whole songs to a minute and a half of each for a party.
Pause everything
SpaceStops both decks at once. Press it again to carry on.
Echo on each deck
TURepeats the song in time with its beat, one key for each deck.
Reverb, Filter and Bass on each deck
Each deck has its own, with a slider for how much. They show when you switch to Advanced.
Headphone preview
Hear the next song in your headphones while the room hears the mix. It's in Advanced too.
Your music
Your own songs, two songs made for practice, and your playlists.

Two practice songs
Neon Run and Afterglow come with PixelDJ and are made for mixing, so you can start the moment it opens.
Find your music
Find Music on This Computer looks through your Music folder. You can also pick a folder, pick songs, or drag them onto PixelDJ.
Moved or renamed songs
Rename a song and PixelDJ finds it by itself. Move one to another folder and it's found again when you add it from there. Either way it keeps its playlists and beat.
MP3, WAV and FLAC songs
The songs you already have on your computer, up to 20 minutes each.
Search and playlists
Find any song by its name or its artist. Make playlists, add songs and move them up or down. Right-click one to rename or delete it. Auto DJ plays whichever list is open.
Up Next
Pick the song that Mix Next brings in.
Beat and key found for you
PixelDJ works out each song's beat and musical key when you add it, so Sync and the instruments can follow it.
Even loudness
Quiet songs and loud songs come out at about the same level, so nobody reaches for the volume.
Straight answers
Songs locked by streaming apps can't be played anywhere but those apps, and PixelDJ tells you which ones instead of failing quietly.
